Coffee At the Courthouse – Judicial Shadowing Day
Registration at: https://www.hillsbar.com/events/EventDetails.aspx?id=1699050&group=
The HCBA Young Lawyers Division, Hillsborough Association for Women’s Lawyers YLD, George Edgecomb Bar Association YLD, and Tampa Hispanic Bar Association YLD present Coffee at the Courthouse and Judicial Shadowing Day. Please join us on January 31st for coffee and lunch with the Judges of the 13th Judicial Circuit and the Judges from the 2nd District Court of Appeals and get a taste of a day in the life of a judge. Breakfast will be served at 7:30 am and lunch at noon in the 6th floor conference room of the George Edgecomb Courthouse. A limited number of spots are available.
Following Coffee at the Courthouse, members spend the day shadowing judges from the 13th Judicial Circuit and the 2nd District Court of Appeals. The Judicial Shadowing Program provides the benefit of direct interaction with the judiciary in a way that may not be otherwise available early in a young lawyer’s career.
