Ever wanted to know how auto accident PIP fraud cases are discovered, prosecuted, and eliminated?  Come hear it straight from the experts!

We are privileged to offer to our membership a special presentation by Supervisory Special Agent Jose Olivier and Senior Field Information Analyst Chris Longino of the Central Florida Major Medical Fraud Task Force ("CFMMFTF") of the National Insurance Crime Bureau ("NICB").  SSA Olivier and SFIA Longino will discuss the impact their work has on the handling of personal injury motor vehicle negligence claims in our area and throughout the state.  Both subject matter experts, they will present an insider's view of the prevalence of fraudulent medical claims and the lengths conspirators will go to perpetrate their crimes.

THBA members practicing in personal injury in particular -- both on the plaintiffs' side and the defense -- are encouraged to attend this special engagement.  Additionally, attorneys serving as counsel to those in the medical field should not miss this presentation.

This presentation is anticipated to be approved for one hour of CLE credit by the Florida Bar.

Lunch will be served promptly at 12:00 p.m., and is complimentary for THBA members with pre-registration.  Guests and non-members alike must pre-register and, if applicable, pay $25.00 per person in advance for admission.

**On-site registration at the door will not be available for this event. Registration will close on May 10, 2019, or when capacity is reached.**
