Join us for the THBA's Second Annual Latina Leaders Summit at the Tampa Club! Following the success of last year's inaugural event, we are proud to announce our panelists for this year's Summit:
- U.S. Attorney Maria Chapa Lopez;
- U.S. District Court Judge Virginia Hernandez Covington;
- Ileana Giordano of Telemundo 49;
- Jenay Iurato of Iurato Law and Immediate Past President of the THBA; and
- Carla Lowry of Lowry at Law, P.A.
Our panelists were chosen this year based on their experience both inside and outside the legal profession. Each woman has risen through the ranks of various private and public entities, and will share with us their paths taken and pitfalls avoided. Additionally, we will discuss with our leaders the particular challenges faced by Latinas both at home and at work.
This Summit is made possible with the support of the Law Office of Hernando Bernal, Jr., P.A. and Milestone Reporting Company.
All members and guests are encouraged to attend this Summit: women, men, Latinos, non-Latinos, junior attorneys, senior attorneys -- all are invited.
This presentation is anticipated to be approved for two hours of CLE credit by the Florida Bar.
Lunch will be served promptly at 11:30 a.m., and is complimentary for THBA members with pre-registration. Guests and non-members must pre-register and pay $25.00 per person in advance for admission.
**On-site registration at the door will not be available for this event. There is limited space available -- all interested attendees are urged to register as soon as possible, as all registration for this event will close on April 1, 2019.**
