Join Former Chief Judge F. Dennis Alvarez for this fourth installment in the THBA's Cafe con Leche series.  Judge Alvarez will pick up where Judge E.J. Salcines left off: recounting the history of the 13th Judicial Circuit's "modern" judges of the 1980's and 1990's.  Come hear the story of how jurists such as James D. Whittemore, Frank A. Gomez, Cynthia A. Holloway, and Charlene Honeywell impacted our circuit.

As Chief Judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit from 1988 to 2001, Judge Alvarez was at the forefront of the many changes which came about as the circuit modernized.  And as a one-time peer to many of the judges who served at the end of the 20th century, Judge Alvarez is in a unique position to give us an insider's view to a moment in history.

Complimentary cafe con leche and pastries will be served.
