The Pro Bono Committee will be accepting nominations from Jan 2, 2020 -February 24, 2020 for recipients of the annual Pro Bono Awards. Completed applications should be sent to Tori Simmons via email@example.com no later than February 24, 2020.
The awards ceremony will be held on April 16, 2020 at 5 p.m. at the Chester Ferguson Law Center.
Please note: Pursuant to Florida Bar Rule 4-6.1 - Pro bono legal service" means legal service rendered to poor clients without charge or expectation of a fee for the lawyer at the time the service commences. Legal services written off as bad debts do not qualify as pro bono service. Pro bono legal service to the poor can also be provided through legal services to charitable, religious, or educational organizations whose overall mission and activities are designed predominately to address the needs of the poor.
