DESCRIPTION:The Florida Jurist Award seeks to honor and recognize judges of Hispanic origen whose professional achievements and contributions to the Hispanic community make us proud of our Hispanic Roots. This award is a state-wide effort led by the Broward County Bar Association and supported by the various Hispanic bar organizations in Florida. In representation of the 13th Judicial Circuit, THBA has selected Judge Miriam Valkenburg to receive the 2022 Florida Jurist Award.
